Make a beautiful Willow Curlew for your garden

Phil Bradley is a basketmaker and willow grower from West Cumbria, but we regularly persuade him to cross the border and teach us folk in Northumberland.

Phil has been making baskets and all manner of willow sculptures for over 30 years and his relaxed and encouraging teaching style is commented on by everyone who attends his courses.
Throughout the day on this hugely popular course you will learn simple sculpture techniques to create a unique willow curlew to cherish. All tools and materials will be provided.

Includes morning coffee and homemade cakes and a 2-course lunch by 'Papaya'

He has been making baskets and all manner of willow sculptures since 1992. Throughout the day on this hugely popular course you will learn simple sculpture techniques to create a unique willow curlew that that will grace any garden setting.  All tools and materials will be provided.
