So you have a sewing machine, but you thought making 'proper' bags required a heavy duty model and a textiles degree?
Absolutely not ... if you have a decent domestic sewing machine and can thread it and sew a straight line, you can make a bag. If you can sew a curved line, then you'll be an expert in no time!
Under the careful guidance of Emma you will make a beautiful large shopper bag in Harris Tweed Marl fabric and lined with oilskin that will no doubt become your number one bag. It can be reversible too.
This is guaranteed to be a fun and relaxing day.
What's included:
Morning coffee and refreshment on arrival.
All the materials you'll need to make your bag including a Harris Tweed label.
You will be fuelled with refreshments along the way including a 2 course lunch by a local chef.
You will need your own Sewing Machine in good working order.
